Return to Face-to-Face.. again

Dear Parents/Carers

Scouts and the National Youth Agency have confirmed that we are now at AMBER LEVEL

We are delighted to confirm that leaders and our young people are returning to Face-to-Face Scouting after the Easter holidays. We are returning to Face-to-Face meetings on Wednesday 21st April 2021.

This means all sections can meet each week both indoors and outdoors.

The leadership team has put together an exciting programme that brings our young people back together at both the hall and at Bexon Lane Campsite. We hope to cover many outdoor and adventure badge work following a long absence from these programmes. With that, we strongly urge all parents and carers to login to OSM regularly to check where the sections will be held each week.

Beavers and Cubs do not have to wear masks but may do so if they wish. Scouts and Adults MUST wear a mask/face covering indoors and outdoors when social distancing isn’t possible, unless exempt. We will provide a named face shield for each Scout & Leader, which will be cleaned and stored safely for them to use each week if they prefer.

Please refer to the email sent out last night for further details about our return.

The leadership team, wish to give a massive Thanks to all who have continued to support them during the lockdown period and they look forward to seeing many of the children next week, in the meantime, continue to stay safe, take care and enjoy the rest of the Easter holidays.

Yours in Scouting
